Pure Tone Audiometry (PTA)

A crucial diagnostic tool measuring hearing sensitivity for speech frequencies, pivotal for diagnosing individuals aged 5 and above.

Free Field Audiometry (FFA)

Specifically designed for children under 5, this assessment delivers sounds through loudspeakers for precise evaluation.

Ear Examination

An ear examination in a hearing clinic includes using an otoscope, a lighted magnifying tool, to inspect the ear canal and eardrum for issues like earwax buildup, infections, or structural problems, aiding in accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Special Test (SISI & TDT)

SISI (Short Increment Sensitivity Index) evaluates the ability to detect minor changes in loudness, indicating cochlear issues. TDT (Tone Decay Test) assesses the auditory nerve’s response to sustained sounds, identifying retrocochlear disorders.
